‘Family Portrait’ was created after a series of timely coincidences made it possible to obtain an x-ray of each one of my immediate family members. My father’s abdominal scan, my mother’s skull superimposed over an image of my mother and myself, my sister’s brain and my anterior chest cavity are no longer images viewed solely for scientific purposes but also for their aesthetic values and artistic play.
