My vote in this order: #6,#8,#2,#1
ReplyDeleteThis is GREAT!
My vote #1, #4, #5, #9
ReplyDeleteYou can vote for however many you feel like voting for ... the votes will (probably) be calculated as follows:
ReplyDeleteEach person's vote for a work will accumulate the following points for it:
2 * (number of entries - ranking)
so, given 9 entires, if you like #5 the best, work #5 will receive 2*(9-1)=16 points. And if you liked #7 second best, work #7 will get 2*(9-2)=14 points. Etc. You can rank them all if you feel like it.
(Also, #9 should be split into separate images -- although still considered one. Each one is too small -- it was intended to be seen fullscreen on a normal 800-pixel-ish high laptop :))
#4 - rabbit skull
ReplyDelete8-4-1-2
ReplyDelete3, 2, 5, 6, 8
ReplyDelete#2, #4, #8, and #9. These are your winners. This, I declare! ("Trafficcorpsejam" and "Spider Tapdances on Human Teeth" were close runners up). ...at least I think those were the titles
ReplyDelete#4 , #2
ReplyDelete2-3-1-8
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2-3-8-10-9-1-5-4-6-7 Very Naice.

My daughter said I should change my votes to show favoritism (sic) ... but I will not.
ReplyDelete1, 5, 6, 9
ReplyDeleteThis vote was found in my email before the deadline!
Total works: 10
ReplyDeleteNotes:
* There is no such thing as "equal votes". All votes were assumed to be written in order of preference.
* Hexidecimal notation was used sporadically.
* Author of Work #7, see me after class!

"Branchtree" !
CONTEST OVER! NOW FIRE ZE MISSILES!
And feel free to ask questions and discuss the arts above.
What is that thing in Jardins du Mort, what is it walking on, and how was the piece generally created/thought up?
ReplyDeleteThe creature is from a sculpture from a park in Paris and it is walking on what I think is a femur, from Paris as well. The work was an older work that I have been recreating over the years. Its an amalgamation of memories. It (as an image) has never reached its peak yet, I don't think it ever will...
